Moim zdaniem dziecko fotografowane ze zbyt niskiej perspektywy, co powoduje nienaturalny odbiór portretu. Ponadto środkowy kadr wymaga szczególnej staranności w symetrii kompozycji czego mi tutaj brakuje. Najbardziej jednak razi wymuszona "nienaturalna" mina dziewczynki. Doświetlenie lampą (prawdopodobnie) zbytnio spłaszczyło portret, jednocześnie spowodowało powstanie silnej granicy cienia na szyi modela jak również cienia powiek na gałkach ocznych. Warto zadbać przy portrecie o szczegóły, jak tu o przekręcone ramiączko kostiumu kąpielowego. Korzystniejsze byłoby użycie blendy.
